Lord

Lord looks back on a past that is hard to imagine. He comes from a cruel killing station in Romania and arrived as a deeply broken soul. Every touch or attempt to put him on a leash sent him into pure panic, a state of shock, or caused him to bite out of fear. With endless patience and nights spent together on a folding bed, he was allowed to learn how to trust again. Today, Lord is a completely different dog: he learned how to smile with us! It is a moment of pure joy when this proud, peaceful male dog openly approaches people and greets them with his very own “Lord smile.” He is incredibly compatible with other dogs and enjoys the safety of the farm to the fullest. Lord is the best example of why the tireless commitment to traumatized souls is worth it.
