Klementine

Klementine’s life began under harsh conditions in a Romanian shelter until she found her way to our sanctuary in 2019. This confident and resolute lady knows exactly what she wants: After a small “marital spat” with her old housemate, she promptly moved out and is now enjoying her quiet shared living arrangement. With her gentle nature and unmistakable cross-eyed gaze, she has won the hearts of our dog walkers. This brave fighter has already overcome a lot health-wise: In addition to hip problems, which are treated with physiotherapy and an underwater treadmill, she had a malignant mammary tumor removed. Thanks to close follow-up care, she is in top shape. During the week, she enchants the sanctuary, and on weekends, she enjoys being an exclusive family dog with Guido, one of the facility’s technicians.
