Welcome to the Animal Sanctuary
The ‘De Hun’nenhoff’ Foundation operates a farm spanning over 50,000 m² in Schneverdingen, not far from Heide Park Soltau. Our farm is specifically designed for animals with physical disabilities. The focus is on paraplegic dogs, who can fully participate in life again through targeted physiotherapy and individually adapted wheelchairs.
In addition to our permanent residents, we also offer physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and loving dog boarding for external dogs.
Among various other awards, founder Dr. Usha Peters was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit in 2026.
