Wheelchair Dogs – A Heartfelt Book from De Hun’nenhoff

Practical Knowledge and Success Stories about Paralyzed Dogs by Dr. Usha Peters and Saskia Wicke
The Heartfelt Book from De Hun’nenhoff – Foreword by Martin Rütter

with guest contributions from Prof. Dr. Achim Gruber, Dr. Oliver Harms & Nils Kasten

When a diagnosis of paraplegia or a permanent walking disability is on the horizon, a world collapses for dog owners. Yet, dogs don’t dwell on it – they live in the here and now and can lead a fulfilling and happy life despite their handicap, if we give them the chance. For more than 20 years, the animal welfare and physiotherapy center De Hun’nenhoff has been a pioneer for dogs with wheelchairs. In this guide, founder Dr. Usha Peters shares her profound expertise, practical everyday tips, and moving success stories. Supplemented by further exciting expert contributions from Prof. Dr. Achim Gruber, Dr. Oliver Harms, and Nils Kasten, this book is a valuable companion for a contemporary approach to caring for handicapped dogs.

All proceeds from this book benefit the De Hun’nenhoff Foundation and the Wheelchair Dogs!
