Lou

Lou came to us in December 2023 with paralyzed hind legs. With a lot of physical therapy and the underwater treadmill, he learned to walk again and briefly returned home, but had to move back in following a health setback, much to the tearful distress of his owners. For us, one thing was clear: we would be there for him! An MRI confirmed a severe herniated disc, but Lou didn’t even think about giving up. With his irrepressible joy for life and daily training with foster mom Saskia, he fought his way back. Since October 2024, he’s been walking on his own four paws again! His cool wheelchair gives him that extra bit of freedom. Every day, with bright eyes, Lou shows us that it’s always worth it to never give up!
