Hans

Hans is a handsome and active boy who moved in with us permanently in October 2019 after several biting incidents. He has an extremely sensitive temperament: if a situation becomes too much for him or he feels cornered, he reacts by biting when overwhelmed. At the sanctuary, he is sweet with the caregivers, but only allows his trusted handlers to touch him. As a herding dog mix, Hans has a tremendous amount of energy and loves action and exercise above all else. To spare him any stress, he lives permanently in a harmonious all-male household with his buddy Fabio. Here, Hans gets exactly the clear structure, freedom, and security he needs to simply relax and be a dog.
