Gypsie’s journey led her to our sanctuary after being abandoned in a barn and later overwhelmed in a home environment, which resulted in two serious biting incidents. Here, this demanding dog has learned that she no longer has to make decisions that overwhelm her. Health-wise, Gypsie has had to endure a lot with us: a uterine tumor surgery in 2021 was followed by a severe cruciate ligament and meniscus tear in 2022. Thanks to intensive underwater treadmill training and physiotherapy, she is visibly moving better today. Gypsie needs people who can read her body language and provide her with clear rules. She has found her permanent place with us and shows every day that even dogs with a difficult past can lead a dignified life.
