Camero

Camero was rescued from a Romanian shelter, completely terrified. As a young dog, he was shot with a shotgun – the pellets remain in his body to this day and led to his physical disabilities. But Camero has taught us that the joy of life has nothing to do with the number of legs you have! He is a gentle, somewhat shy rascal with a huge heart. When the whole pack crowds around for treats, Camero always stands politely to the side and waits patiently until it’s his turn. He requires ongoing physical therapy, pain management, and regular visits to the orthopedist, all of which he endures with full trust and complete calmness. A quiet but incredibly strong character who has found his safe place here at the sanctuary.
