Maverick (formerly Bodo) came to us under incredibly difficult circumstances: He comes from a war zone and has experienced things no puppy should see. But he was lucky in his misfortune and was rescued by brave animal welfare activists. Why his hind legs are paralyzed remains his secret, but one thing is for sure: Maverick doesn’t let any handicap in the world spoil his mood! With Tabea’s pack, he hit the absolute jackpot and receives the intensive care he needs. He also doesn’t let his heartworm disease get him down and takes his medication exemplarily. In his custom-made wheelchair, he zips happily through life as a little hero on two wheels. He is the best example that you can shine brightly again after dark times!
