Mara

Mara came to us from a German animal shelter and made it clear from the start: “I don’t like people!” She is a truly fearful dog who only allows limited petting and tends to nip quickly when feeling pressured. When you’re not looking, she’s full of mischief and loves to playfully nudge our calves unnoticed – which she probably finds the funniest! But Mara is absolutely not a sad dog. She is young, cheerful, and adores her dog friends! In her group, she completely blossoms and follows her “boys” everywhere. Very slowly and with a lot of patience, she’s realizing that we mean her no harm, and occasionally even lets us scratch her nose. We love Mara exactly as she is – with all her honesty and her wonderful mischief.
