Kelly

Kelly came to us from Romania in August 2022 and initially arrived with an immense amount of fear. But thanks to the patient work of our dog walker Silvia, this shy girl has learned step by step how wonderful walks can be and that humans can be trusted. She has also completely overcome an old heartworm infection and is in top shape today! While she remains a sensitive and reserved soul toward strangers, anyone who wins her trust will be charmed by her friendly, cheerful nature. She gets along famously with other dogs and cats. She was actually supposed to be up for adoption, but then love got in the way: she captured the heart of our Giant Schnauzer, Navajo. Since January 2025, the two have been a happy couple, and Kelly has found her forever home with us.
