Biene had the worst possible start in Germany: After being adopted from Romania, she was completely overwhelmed by her new surroundings, bit visitors, and an attempt to train her as a therapy dog failed completely. She finally found her safe haven with us. In the beginning, she still snapped at visitors, but this intelligent lady learned lightning-fast. Today, she knows that no one here wants to hurt her and that visitors often have tasty treats with them. Snapping is almost entirely a thing of the past. She doesn’t even growl at strangers anymore; instead, she romps around happily and loves getting her cuddles.
