Bela’s story is marked by severe setbacks: He suffered a herniated disc, underwent surgery, and arrived paralyzed and with bites from a shelter. Initially, he could neither walk nor urinate independently. But thanks to intensive veterinary treatment and physiotherapy, a miracle happened in February 2025: Bela is walking again! Even if he’s still a bit wobbly, he enjoys his new mobility to the fullest. The little “oddball” is very selective with other dogs. Since April 2025, he has been living in his foster home, where his mild incontinence is perfectly managed thanks to loving care. His enormous strength and his funny, stubborn character simply make him irreplaceable.
